Benny Agius has worked in the publishing and bookselling industry for over 40 years. She started her career as a bookseller and over the years transitioned into a variety of roles within the publishing industry. Sales and Marketing has been her particular focus, where she has extensive experience and contacts, along with digital marketing, events and publicity. She has, however, also worked as Managing Director, and Publisher and has a broad knowledge of almost every area of publishing.

Benny has worked with many wonderful authors helping them develop their works and their careers. She loves nothing more than guiding authors and helping them achieve their goals and dreams. She also has great relationships with freelance editors, printers, designers, typesetters, shippers, marketers - the people in publishing who will get your book to your readers.  In 2019 she co-founded the Words on the Waves Writers Festival, on the NSW Central Coast, and she has had two of her own books published.

Benny has published hundreds of fiction, and non-fiction books with particular focus on memoir, biography, self-help and parenting. She can proudly say that many of her authors have achieved international success, several being best-sellers.

Benny has now established her own business, BMA Publishing Expertise, to help authors navigate the ins and outs of the publishing industry.
